Focus Group launches Focus AI, a single home for practical AI tools for UK businesses

Meet Aila, the AI receptionist that answers every call, 24/7

Focus Group has launched Focus AI, a new proposition that brings its AI solutions together in one place, helping UK businesses handle customer conversations faster and more consistently without adding pressure on their teams.

Focus AI launches with three solutions:

  • Aila, the AI receptionist, which answers every call the moment it rings, around the clock. Aila+ goes further, booking appointments, qualifying enquiries and routing calls to the right team while the caller is still on the line, with fuller reporting and up to five AI agents.
  • AI Virtual Agent, which handles customer questions across channels so teams are not stretched across every conversation at once.
  • Conversational Intelligence, which turns customer interactions into insight in real time.

Aila is tailored to ten sectors, including dental practices, law and financial services, estate and lettings agents, hotels, restaurants, veterinary practices, car dealerships and garages, builders and contractors, gyms and spas, and retail and e-commerce. It integrates with tools businesses already use, including Microsoft Outlook, HubSpot, Dentally and TableFox, and can be live in as little as two weeks.

Each solution is trained on the customer’s own products, policies, processes and brand voice, with guardrails on what it can say. If it does not know an answer, it does not guess. It passes the conversation to the team with the context they need.

Focus AI also starts with the business case. Before any build begins, customers receive a tailored ROI model, and most see payback within six to nine months depending on what is automated and the volume of conversations handled.

Richard Osborn at Focus Group said: “Too many businesses are choosing between the customer in front of them and the one on the phone. Focus AI removes that trade-off. We have brought together AI that handles the routine work well, so people can spend their time on the conversations that need them.”

Focus AI is available now at focusai.co.uk.
